GEORGE CHIOTIS
Visual Set Designer, Costume Designer
  • Chiotis was born in Athens in 1953. He is married and has three children.
  • He studied Αpplied Αrts in the Ιndustry at SCUOLA SUPERIORE D’ARTE APPLICATA, Castello Sforzesco, Milano.
  • Costume design and clothing technology.
  • Fashion design at INSTITUTO SECOLI ,
  • Ηe worked as a Chief Designer in clothing factories in Italy, Greece and Cyprus.
  • He collaborated with Greek fine arts workshops in the maquette and poster fields.
  • He was an interior designer with visual depictions and specialized constructions (statues, restorations, wood, metal and glass applications).
  • Since 1988 he is a permanent resident of Cyprus.
  • He worked with advertising agencies.
  • He dealt with the industrial design for exhibition stands.Motor Show of Mitsubishi company for 25 years in Cyprus 1990.Study and design of the exhibition stand of the German company “GROHE” for the Middle East etc.
  • He worked as a set designer on many private TV shows, but also on the state radio channel CBC.
  • Since 1996 he has been working in the Cyprus Theater Organization in the position of Head Technical Coordinator.
